This salt has multiple uses. The porcini flavor perks up bland fish. Try sprinkling it on vegetables, too. It's a big hit on homemade oven-fried potato chips, green beans, and spinach. When making your own salad dressing, use it in place of table salt; That 'umami' taste is incredibly delicious.
Pricey? Yes, but a little goes a long way. The 4-oz. container I bought one year ago is still half-full. This salt is well worth it!
